Sodium doped Cesium Iodide, or CsI(Na), has a wavelength of emission peak at 420nm, which makes it well matched to the photo-cathode sensitivity of bialkali photomultiplier (PMT), CsI(Na) scintillation crystals also has a high light output yielding up to 85% of NaI(Tl). Compared to NaI(Tl), it is a relatively soft and plastic material without a cleavage plane,  which makes the CsI(Na) scintillator materials suitable for harsh environmental applications, like well-logging, space research, etc. 

Hangzhou Shalom EO offers the CsI(Na) custom scintillator, the polished and encapsulated CsI(Na) crystals are available, and the Photo Multiplier (PMT) could be installed if requested.
